Hi, I’m Anna. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker LCSW and coach who is passionate about helping people feel more connected to themselves, supported, and capable of creating meaningful change in their lives.

I’ve always known I wanted to work in a field where I could help others. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in early childhood development as a preschool teacher, infant and toddler developmental specialist, and director of a childhood development center. Those experiences helped shape the way I understand people and the impact that early life experiences can have later on in life.

I earned my Master’s in Clinical Social Work from George Mason University in 2016 and spent several years working in residential, outpatient, intensive outpatient, and intensive in-home settings with teens and adults struggling with eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in 2021 and later opened my own practice.

A large part of my work has focused on eating disorders and disordered eating. I chose to specialize in that area because I’m very passionate about supporting teens and adult women who are often suffering in silence. A big part of that passion comes from my own history of having an eating disorder. I’ve been in recovery for 12 years, and I really wanted to bring that lived experience into the work I do and help others feel less alone in what can be such an isolating battle.

Over the years, my practice has expanded to also support clients navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, ADHD, ASD, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I take a strengths-based and collaborative approach, meaning we work together to better understand what’s going on, build on what’s already working, and develop tools that help clients move forward with more confidence and self-awareness.

I also value working collaboratively with other professionals, including psychiatrists, doctors, dietitians, therapists, and school counselors, to help provide well-rounded support when needed.

I’m passionate about continuing to learn and grow in my work. Currently, I’m working toward becoming a certified grief movement guide, which focuses on using movement, breath, and sound to help process emotions and support healing.

At the core of everything I do is the belief that people are capable of growth, healing, and change  and that they deserve a compassionate space to explore that process without judgment.
